jUploadr 0.7 OSX bug

Last week, Apple updated Java on OSX, which had the effect of breaking the authorization flow (the browser window won’t open). I’ve already fixed this in CVS, so it’ll be fixed when 0.8 comes out. If you have the Mac client, and have already authorized, you won’t be affected, but if you’re a new user, you won’t be able to authorize.

I experience the same problem on the windows version: I can’t enter any account info, there’s only a button “Authorize” which after clicking tells me, that the entered email address can’t be authorized. Strange, i never have the option to enter email address and password for flickr…

This is quite possible. The best way to fix this is to go into the registry and blow away all jUploadr’s settings.
Also, versions after 0.7 won’t ever ask you for your username and password, the error message is left over from a previous version.
I’ve made great progress with the next release, and many of the strange authentication bugs have been fixed. If my testers don’t report any bugs in the next few days I’ll do a release.

Version 0.8 is soooo much better than 0.7

One more thing: Might you let me test it as well? If yes, you got my emailaddress, so you could just send it to me…
