0.8.1
Looks like it’s time for jUploadr’s first bug-fix release. Not much is new here, but I did fix all the open bugs.
It’s a bit strange that I couldn’t duplicate any of them, but I did come up with a work around. Thank you to all those that sent me stack traces, they were invaluable in fixing the bug. Go Grab it!

Hi,
I was wondering how I might go about using jUploadr to upload to more than one Flickr account. I see the Re-authorise button but it seems to just re-authorise the account that is set up. I presume there must be some way to change this in order to enable uploading to multiple accounts.
Thanks,
Steve

Too bad, you didn’t include the german language file… Anyway, good work! I like the uploadr very much. Good to see that someone cares about the windows replacements for standard apps!

I get the following:
27-Jan-2006 19:38:51 org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodBase processResponseHeaders
WARNING: Cookie rejected: “$Version=0; use_master_until=1138358328; $Domain=flickr.com; $Path=/”. Domain attribute “flickr.com” violates RFC 2109: domain must start with a dot
Anything to worry about?
Also a very minor niggle. Could you make the backgrpound of the system tray icon transparent?
Apart from that, great work!

Nah, don’t worry about that error, it’s something the HTTP library complains about, it doesn’t seem to hurt anything
I’ll fix the tray background for the next release.

I used the ‘original’ feature of adding uploaded pictures directly to a set for some times now and I think this would be another major improvement for jUploadr. Do you plan to include that in the next release?

Carsten,
I have no idea what you’re talking about. Is there some feature of the original uploader that you would like to be added to jUploadr? I’ve only briefly seen the original Flickr uploadr.

On my machine (Debian sid on x86) the java process for jUploadr won’t die when I quit jUploadr.
The window disappears all right, but java does not return control to the terminal where I started jUploadr from, and I still see the process in the process list.
Issuing the process a TERM signal makes it quit.
Keep up the good work!

Uqbar:
jUploadr stays resident unless you select exit from the file menu.

Ah!
How do I bring it up again after closing the window? Re-launch it from the command line?
Thx,
