I'm getting this communication problem still and have tried downloading and running all the suggested versions. Has Kris sorted it or no?

Sridhar,
The fix isn't on my end, Kris needs to re-enable jUp's API key. He said he was going to do so last week, but he hasn't done it yet.

I downloaded 1.1.2 and still get 'problem communicating with zooomr...' error when trying to authorize jUploader for my zooomr account.

Flickr works fine.

Any fix?

hey, I downloaded and everything worked like a treat. however, it cannot find the root directory where it was installed so i can create shortcuts, is this because it is a java application and does not leave a trace?

cheers

Alexy:
I just tried downloading and running jUploadr 1.1.2 and it worked for me. Are you not executing it from its home directory? It should be as easy as:
tar xfvz jUploadr-1.1.2-linuxGTK-i386.tar.gz
cd jUploadr-1.1.2-linuxGTK-i386
./jUploadr

gojeffrey, Alexcy:
Can you do the following:
Open Terminal (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal)
when terminal is open type the following:
cd /Applications/JUploadr.app/Contents/MacOS
./JavaApplicationStub

Send me what the old mac spits out...

This has been a freaking nightmare...
Kris rolled back Mark III, and didn't tell me the correct URLs in the first place, so I have to make new builds again.

For the time being, download 1.1.2beta1, it's the same thing as 1.1.2 with the old URLs.
